Your role:
Create: Develop engaging resources to help children access and understand the curriculum.
Collaborate: Work closely with teaching and senior staff to support learning and manage the classroom.
Empower: Promote pupils’ independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion.
Support: Assist pupils individually or in groups to access the curriculum, participate in learning, and achieve success.
Care: Provide personal care and medical support to students.

Experience in settings that support children with special needs is a plus.
Previous experience working with children.

Salary: S3-S4 Outer London (£27,345-£28,125 FTE) Hourly rate £14.57-£14.98 dependant on experience
Hours: 35 hours a week, term time only, 38/39 weeks a year. We are looking for general class TAs and a 1:1 for a named child

NEST Nurseries Senior Practitioner
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Practitioner to join our nursery team. In this key role, you will support the Nursery Management Team in upholding our vision and values, while helping staff deliver a high-quality, inclusive curriculum in a nurturing environment. You’ll bring strong safeguarding knowledge, a collaborative approach to working with professionals, and the confidence to lead the nursery in the absence of the Manager and Deputy Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive early years curriculum.
- Promote and uphold the nursery’s vision, values, and key principles.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to staff to ensure best practice.
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children.
- Act promptly and professionally in all safeguarding matters.
- Liaise effectively with external professionals to support individual children’s needs.
- Lead the nursery in the absence of the Manager and Deputy Manager, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Salary: S5 range (£28,125-£28,929 FTE) £14.98-£15.41 per hour
Hours: 25.25 hours, Monday 8.45am - 4.30pm, Wednesday-Friday 8.45am - 3.15pm, 38 weeks per year with additional days required for INSET training for which you will timesheet.
