Teaching Assistant with Named Child & Midday Supervisors - Highfield Infants & Juniors Schools

Highfield Infants’ and Junior Schools are three-form entry schools in the heart of Shortlands. They are two separate schools who work together, under one Headteacher, to ensure children receive a consistent and cohesive primary education, from Reception through to the end of Year 6.  They share the same leafy site, and the rich curriculum is supported by outdoor, active and international learning.

Highfield Infants’ and Junior School are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant with Named Child(ren) and Midday Supervisors.

Teaching Assistant with Named Child(ren) to include Midday Supervisor role

Monday – Friday, 15.25 hours a week, 38 weeks a year

Salary scale: S3-S4 (£23,628-£24,408 FTE)  Actual range (£8,352-£8,622)

Midday Supervisors

MDS Role 1: Monday – Friday, 7.5 hours a week, 38 weeks a year

Salary scale: S3 (£23,628-£24,012 FTE)  Actual range (£4,108-£4,175)

MDS Role 2: Wednesday – Friday, 4.5 hours a week, 38 weeks a year

Salary scale: S3 (£23,628-£24,012 FTE)  Actual range (£2,465-£2,505)

Start date: 4 September 2023 although you may be required to attend some whole school training on 31 August 2023 and 1 September 2023.

NEST Finance Lead

Nexus Education Schools Trust are looking for a Finance Lead to join the Trust’s Central Services Finance Team.

The role will involve providing financial support to the Central Team and partner schools, whilst ensuring that Trust financial processes and procedures are followed. The role will be line managed and supported by the Head of Hub Finance.

As this role involves providing support to partner schools as well as to the Central Team, the successful candidate may be required to travel to different school locations so access to their own vehicle is essential.

Salary: S9 range (outer London)

NEST - Apprentice Finance Assistant Recruitment Pack

NEST are recruiting Apprentice Finance Assistants to provide financial support to schools within the Trust.

As an apprentice, you will be enrolled on either the Accounts Finance Assistant (Level 2) or Assistant Accountant (Level 3) training programme which involves weekly or fortnightly release at the London South East Colleges.

John Keats Primary School - Premises Officer

John Keats Primary School is recruiting a Premises Officer to carry out caretaking and general maintenance duties.  The role will include the co-ordination of facilities and setting up for school events as well as assisting with any planned maintenance programmes.

We are looking for someone who is approachable, proactive and prepared to go the extra mile to ensure the smooth running of the school.  You will be part of a larger supportive premises team across the Trust, but you will be expected to carry out day-to-day caretaking duties independently.  It would be beneficial if you are able to carry out minor repairs. The successful candidate will be required to be flexible and may work across other schools within the Trust. 

Salary range: S5-S6 (Inner London)

NEST - Apprentice Caretakers

We are seeking to appoint 2 ambitious, highly effective Apprentice Assistant Caretakers to join our very successful Multi-Academy Trust.

We are looking for someone who is approachable, proactive and prepared to go the extra mile to ensure the smooth running of the school.  You will be working alongside the existing caretaker and part of a larger supportive premises team across the Trust.  The successful candidate will be required to be flexible and may work across other schools within the Trust. 

As an apprentice, you will be enrolled on the Property Maintenance Operative training programme which involves day release at the London South East Colleges.
