NEST Governance Professional

Join Our Team as a Governance Professional at Nexus Education Schools Trust
Are you looking for a flexible, term-time role that allows you to make an a real impact? Nexus Education governance professionals to support our 20 schools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Our Schools: Work closely with specific schools within the NEST Trust, providing essential clerking services.
  • Meeting Management: Prepare for and attend meetings, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Administrative Excellence: Utilise your administrative skills to manage information and support the governance of our schools.

Salary: S7 London range (£18.55-£20.77 per hour)

Hours: Please note that this is not a full-time role and salary is in accordance with actual hours worked and location. Clerks should
expect to work around 20-40 hours per term.

Alexandra Adventurers Wrap Around Care Staff

Join Our Wrap Around Care Team at Alexandra Schools!

We’re excited to be recruiting enthusiastic and caring staff to join our Wrap Around Care Provision, supporting children at both Alexandra Infant and Alexandra Junior Schools. This provision will operate across both school sites, offering a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for our pupils.

We’re looking for individuals who can help create a vibrant space where children can thrive, laugh, and make lasting memories. Every day brings a new adventure - from energetic outdoor play and imaginative role-play to creative arts and crafts that spark self-expression. Monday to Friday : 07.15 - 09.00 and 15.00 - 18.00

Salary S7 Outer London £16.55 - £17.54 per hour

Deputy Manager

Monday to Friday : 07.15 - 08.45 and 15.00 - 18.00

Salary S5 Outer London £14.98 - £15.41 per hour

Club Assistants

Monday to Friday : 07.15 - 08.45 and 15.00 - 18.00

Salary S3 £14.77 per hour

Admin Officer - Highfield Schools

A School Administrative Officer plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the school’s daily operations. Acting as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff, they manage a wide range of administrative tasks with professionalism and care.

Key responsibilities typically include:

  • Managing the school’s front office and reception duties
  • Handling phone calls, emails, and correspondence
  • Maintaining pupil records and school databases
  • Supporting attendance monitoring and reporting
  • Assisting with admissions, enrolment, and school communications
  • Coordinating meetings, school events, and diary management
  • Processing invoices, orders, and basic financial tasks
  • Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, data protection, and school policies

This role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment. A friendly, approachable manner and a commitment to supporting the school community are essential.

Salary: S5-S6 Outer London (£28,125-£30,630 pro-rata)

Hours: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8am – 4pm).Term time only, 39 weeks per year
We actively promote flexible working and will consider applications from those wishing to work part-time and full-time (please state when submitting your application form if you are interested in part-time hours, eg 8am – 1pm or 12.30pm – 4pm daily). We require someone to be in school on Monday to Friday.
