Admin Officer - Marjorie McClure School
School Administrative Officer plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the school’s daily operations. Acting as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff, they manage a wide range of administrative tasks with professionalism and care.
Key responsibilities typically include:
Managing the school’s front office and reception duties
Handling phone calls, emails, and correspondence
Maintaining pupil records and school databases
Supporting attendance monitoring and reporting
Assisting with admissions, enrolment, and school communications
Coordinating meetings, school events, and diary management
Processing invoices, orders, and basic financial tasks
Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, data protection, and school policies
This role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment. A friendly, approachable manner and a commitment to supporting the school community are essential.

Hours: Monday to Friday, term-time only, 38 weeks per year.
Morning sessions: 07.15 - 09.00
Afternoon sessions: 15.00 - 18.00

NEST Senior Payroll Manager - Maternity Cover

We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Manager to lead our payroll team during a period of maternity leave. This is an opportunity to lead and manage our in house payroll function for our Trust and its 20 schools. Working in the Education Sector is highly rewarding, we are looking for a Payroll Manager who understands the needs of our schools and pupils and is committed to delivering an efficient customer focused payroll service. You will lead a dedicated payroll team, working closely with our Finance and Central HR teams to deliver a seamless, professional service that supports our staff and upholds our high standards.
If you thrive in a fast-paced setting which places it's staff and the pupils we serve at the heart of everything we do, have a keen eye for detail, and are passionate about delivering excellent customer service in payroll operations, we’d love to hear from you.
Salary: S14 Outer London (£47,532-£50,574) Commensurate with experience
Hours: Permanent, Full-time - 36 hours a week (Monday-Friday), 52 weeks per year. Please note, this is a maternity cover and the contract will terminate when the original postholder returns

NEST Nurseries Senior Practitioner
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Practitioner to join our nursery team. In this key role, you will support the Nursery Management Team in upholding our vision and values, while helping staff deliver a high-quality, inclusive curriculum in a nurturing environment. You’ll bring strong safeguarding knowledge, a collaborative approach to working with professionals, and the confidence to lead the nursery in the absence of the Manager and Deputy Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive early years curriculum.
- Promote and uphold the nursery’s vision, values, and key principles.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to staff to ensure best practice.
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children.
- Act promptly and professionally in all safeguarding matters.
- Liaise effectively with external professionals to support individual children’s needs.
- Lead the nursery in the absence of the Manager and Deputy Manager, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Salary: S5 range (£28,125-£28,929 FTE) £14.98-£15.41 per hour
Hours: 25.25 hours, Monday 8.45am - 4.30pm, Wednesday-Friday 8.45am - 3.15pm, 38 weeks per year with additional days required for INSET training for which you will timesheet.
