Pickhurst Infant Academy

Welcome to Pickhurst Infant Academy “where children love to learn”. We are a 4-form entry infant school in West Wickham surrounded by extensive grounds.

Pickhurst Infants is a Centre of Excellence in Early Years Education, a truly inclusive school where within a nurturing environment each child’s ability is recognised, valued and developed. All children at Pickhurst Infants automatically gain a place at Pickhurst Junior Academy.

The school retained its “Outstanding” rating by Ofsted in a recent inspection, January 2022. 

We aim to provide inspiring and innovative teaching which challenges children to think, question, reflect and understand.  We believe that potential is open-ended and children should be encouraged to have a ‘growth mindset’.
